the staff was helpful and they provided free drinks in the reception. that was acceptable.
The room i booked had a tiny window blocked by the roof. It was like a prison cell and getting to it involved four levels of very steep stairs, something i wasn't prepared FOR.

The location is superb. A short walk leads to the palace. I appreciated the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. The hotel and room were clean, giving me comfort .
The stairs proved a little challenging, especially with luggage to the upper floors.

the staff were very helpful with luggage. the breakfast provided a tasty start to the day.
The room was quite small. the window view was blocked by the hotel roof. It felt a bit like a prison cell. climbing the steep stairs to reach the room was not easy. It became a tiring chore each day.

The staff showed great kindness. The owner even provided helpful items for my knee. every employee was friendly, from arrival to check-in. the owner, a retired doctor, delivered topical cream to my room. bob, on the swing shift, was particularly nurturing and kind, providing ice and assistance..
A bag with souvenirs disappeared from my room after cleaning. I contacted them but received no further assistance beyond being told nothing was found.
